Spring will soon be upon us. It is a season that represents rebirth, rejuvenation, and re-energizing. The urge to sweep out the old and bring in the new leads to many Spring cleaning projects this time of year. Here are some Spring cleaning projects for your body:
Do a Body Cleanse
There are several types of body cleanses for several different parts of the body. In particular it is important to cleanse the liver and large intestine at least once a year. These are filters for your body so they can easily get clogged up. You can find many products for this process in most natural supermarkets. Most are gentle and non-invasive so you don’t have to worry about a cleanse interrupting your daily routine.
Drink More Water
Water is essential for the detoxification process of the body. Not getting optimum amounts will lead to fatigue, muscle, and joint aches because toxins are accumulating in the body. Divide your body weight in half and that is how many ounces you need a day for optimum function.
Aspire to Perspire
Perspiration is a natural process for regulating body temperature, but it is also important for detoxifing your body. Sweating during your daily exercise is a chance for your body to clean itself out. Utilizing a steam room or sauna is also a great way to allow your body to detox.
